The Red Lion is a 17th-century country inn in the picturesque village of Caythorpe

We are committed to providing quality food, drink and a warm and friendly atmosphere in the relaxed environment, quirky with a hint of traditional charm.

​

Whether it be a drink or a meal sit back and relax and we will take care of everything, you won't need to visit the bar unless you want to sit and chat with us.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY 

The food here is proper pub food, done well. Fresh, tasty and in good portions. We all five enjoyed each course and all our ‘special’ requests were welcomed. We had two kids and one picky eater, nothing was too mush trouble. Chefs did a cracking job and we all left very full and happy 🧑‍🍳 Their service however really made it. Both kids were made to feel special, the dogs welcomed and a good craic for the adults. Personalised, polite, laid back and friendly. Genuine hospitality done brilliantly 👏🏻 I couldn’t recommend this place anymore! We will definitely be back. Thank-you for a lovely Sunday afternoon.
